Babies grow to fast! Period. Goodness every time I turn around Jax is doing something new (and totally adorable of course), but it is a bitter sweet moment for a mother. I don't want him to grow up too fast, I love watching him grow and develop and it is beautiful to know that the human body is capable of teaching itself all these wonderful things so young, but he is my baby boy ):
What he is up to NOW!
He can now grab light weight items, the pacifier, a blanket, a small toy and YES mommy's hair.
He can now hold his head up like a champion! If we lay him on his tummy can support the upper half of his body on his elbows
He almost ALWAYS he a smile on his face
These smiles are accompanied by frantic and excited kicking of his arms and legs (almost as if he wants to giggle SO bad, but can't quite let it out yet)
He makes eye contact when you talk to him, sometimes even from across the room. He also uses these powerful little eyeballs to religiously watch television
His favorite thing to watch on television, Alvin and the chipmonks! YAY!
He sleep completely through the night. We have never had much problem with him sleeping, but now if we put him down at 10pm he will be out until 6:30 or 7am. (Happy mommy and daddy!)
He entertains himself. When he wakes up, we can hear him in the crib talking to himself until we go in and get him (as apposed to the IM HUNGRY NOW cry)
These are just a few of the wonderful things our little boy has learned
over the last three months, I could go on all day really. But even
better, here are some pictures for those of you who don't following me
on Facebook or instagram.
3 months!
Post-Pregnancy wardrobe
I have been doing research on post pregnancy attire... and it is exhausting to say the least. As I mentioned in the last post, I have been dieting, so I am not exactly looking to spend tons of money on a new wardrobe. ESPECIALLY because stores in the mall to not have ANY clothes that can be flattering that post baby belly, the shirts are too short and pinch in ALL the places I'd like to hide from the world for at least a year. How do you balance not wanted to spend tons of money on clothes that will hopefully one day be to big, and not wanting to feel like crap wearing sweats and your partners t-shirts... comfy... not cute.
The following links were amazingly helpful... anddd they made me feel a little better to know I am not the only women out their pulling my hair over these little things. If only you could see some of the other women I know who have recently had children, they look like SUPERSTARS.

Man, if anything makes you have post-partum depression it is your own self image. I cannot even describe how hard it is to be soooo excited to get to wear your clothes again... and a bikini... only to find out they still don't fit. And as soon as you hit the six week mark to be able to hit the gym and calorie counting... they pop a birth control in your mouth and BAM. Hello to ten more pounds. And those beautiful lucious locks you got from pregnancy? All the prenatals in the world won't keep the post pregnancy hormones from turning that into a dry disaster. Forgive my ranting.
Stretch marks, Cellulite, sagging, you name it. Every womans nightmare.. and I got it in one clean swoop. But I am not going to let that drag me down! I have started a work-out. I have taken before pictures, and I plan on taking after pictures. I just hope it doesn't take me as long as some other women. All I have to say is I am super jealous of all those women out there who have multiple children and might aswell model for Victoria's Secret. But I think it will feel AWESOME to have really worked for it.
