How We Met

Jacob and I have interesting history to say the least. Our love story is a series of random circumstances, but here we are! First, I met Jacob through his older sister Lillie. Lillie and I became friends in junior high almost instantly.. we road the bus to school together, and just sort of clicked. Jacob, on the other hand... was my best friends younger brother! Weird? Jacob will deny it, but we used to fight a lot! I usually won of course, but hey!

After junior high was over, Lillie and I went to different high schools and slowly saw less and less of each other until we were basically just social media friends (we all have those right?!) I really never thought twice about Jacob after that. 

Partly through my college carrier, a couple of my girlfriends and I moved to Phoenix. Somewhere in that time frame, Jacob added me on Facebook. No big deal. 

Welllll apparently it was a bigger deal then I realized at the time, I mean, come on! I was adding my future husband! We didn't hit it off immediately, but one day he randomly PMed me and told me he has a little crush on me growing up (awww) and we talked on and off from that point on. 

*random detail... I still have all our Facebook messages! I plan to use them as blackmail at some point. 

When I went to visit friends and family in Utah the following October, we decided we would meet up for a little double date with my friend Shannon
