Thanksgiving weekend!

11.30.2014

Thanksgiving break is always one of my favorites! Which is surprising... because I don't like turkey! I  just love shopping with my family and getting in the mood for Christmas... which is by far my favorite holiday. Last Thanksgiving was not an awesome one for me, we had JUST lost a baby to miscarriage.. and my husband worked... so I spent time with my family in California. This year was much better! We ALMOST had the entire family together, which rarely happens anymore now that we are all getting older and starting our own lives.

On Friday, most of us went out and about shopping, and we had a great time!! Jason and Milan got to test my new Britax B-ready.. which is quickly becoming my favorite item as far as baby gear is concerned. I never realized how terrible my other stroller was HAHA! Obviously, Milan isn't complaining either...

Jaxon and mommy got to take pictures in front of the Christmas tree at the mall! Obviously, he is thrilled...

He was however VERY excited to see the train taking kids around... if you have met him personally... you know why. BUT, when the line was too long that train left him to wait until the next round... it hit him hard! Poor boy!

Luckily, Uncle Brock was able to console him long enough for him to finally get his turn!

25 week update!

11.18.2014

I got to see baby boy again today! Like I mentioned before, because he has Single Umbilical Artery, doctors want to check his growth every 4 weeks... which means more pictures for momma!

So far, everything looks good! My specialist said we won't notice it effect growth much until the end (if at all)... so in the mean time.. I have increased my protein intake to try and be proactive!

Some have asked about a name... we will announce when we are ready! We have a few in mind... just want it to be perfect!

As for momma... I am doing fine so far. I am really surprised how fast I developed a "bump", however it has really slowed down. Hoping that means I won't be HUGE come delivery time!

New hair!!

11.03.2014

I think it is a pregnant thing.... the never ending need to change your appearance. I have held out as long as I can. My hair was flat and heavy and boring. It is bad enough that I am not always the best at getting red-carpet-ready before I leave my house.. but even if I made the effort to get ready.. I still felt blah.

Although I don't usually like going lighter, I have played it safe for so long, I figured it was time. After all, I couldn't hate my hair anymore then I did already right?!

I am pretty happy with the results! I am so glad my aunt was able to do this for me!
